In this webinar, Mad*Pow Experience Strategist Liz Possee Corthell discusses how future studies can be applied to service design to create proactive solutions. Corthell examines the challenge of service design during “collapse scenarios,” in which societies experience major upheaval. The webinar reviews changes that resulted from previous collapse scenarios such as the 9-11 terrorist attacks or the Blizzard of 1888, and explores the impact of the current COVID-19 crisis on various industries. The webinar explores common elements of a collapse scenario, as well as needs that emerge as a result. Finally, the presentation touches on how possible scenarios can be classified in order to design the best solutions for that future.
