Martin has worked extensively in all manner of design – from physical to digital design. His passion for designing new things drives him to continue to expand his skillset. Throughout his career, Martin has gone from fabrication, to exhibit design, to experience design, to strategy and now, foresight and futures design.
Martin found his way to the world of design through his love of art. He loves the process of taking something that is just an idea and bringing it to life.
One of the achievements Martin is most proud of is his collaborative work designing the jellyfish exhibit at Shedd Aquarium in Chicago. “There is a different sort of satisfaction in designing immersive environments, using all sorts of media and ideas in a mission-driven place,” said Martin. His love of collaboration – “working with smart folks,” as he put it – is what drew Martin to Mad*Pow.
When he’s not at work, Martin loves to play tennis, travel, and build things. We can’t wait to see what Martin builds for our clients here at Mad*Pow!
