Lindsey has been described as a “constructive contrarian.”
She’ll fit right in at Mad*Pow.
Our Organizational Design group noticed her right away because of her degrees in psychology and humanistic studies (with a minor in behavioral science) from McGill University, and a master’s in design ethnography from the University of Dundee (Scotland). Her wide experience includes stints at Atrius Health, the Business Innovation Factory, Ximedica, and Lextant.
Lindsey says all of that enables her to look at an organization through its employees and culture using ethnographic and participatory methods of research, as well as considering the organization’s structures and processes using design and business analysis techniques.
Her work has included some startling moments, most notable surviving two tornadoes while doing fieldwork. Her tip: Best place to hide from a tornado is in an artisanal chocolate shop, which doled out free samples while waiting for the all clear
