Lauren describes herself as a “late bloomer” who has always been an artist, but didn’t discover design until her 20s. “I quickly fell in love with the foundations of typography, and the rest is history.”
Today, Lauren combines her passion for design with her commitment to wellness by incorporating psychology and human behavior into her daily work. She is especially dedicated to using her design skills to further inclusive design principles. She’s made this area a core part of her practice, creating experiences that can be appreciated by users of all abilities and backgrounds.
Lauren graduated from The Art Institute of Boston at Lesley University and has won several design awards. She’s proud to have worked with clients like Samsonite, AAA, Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Converse, Honeywell, and GE. One of her favorite accomplishments of her career (so far) is working with Sir Tim Berners-Lee on the brand development of his startup, Inrupt, and to be part of his vision for a decentralized web.
When Lauren is not at work, you can find her on her yoga mat. She’s a dedicated yogi and has a daily meditation practice that helps keep her grounded. She loves spending time at the beach or paddleboarding (or both). In her free time, she pursues other creative outlets, such as oil painting, sketching, and playing the ukulele.
