Co-Founder of One of Boston’s Leading Strategic Design Consultancy’s Named to The Pharmavoice 100

(Boston,  MA) -   Amy Cueva, Chief Experience Officer and Co-founder of Boston-based Mad*Pow has been recognized by one of the pharmaceutical industries’ top trade magazines as a PharmaVOICE 100 Most Inspiring People. Formed in 2001, PharmaVOICE brings the voice of the industry to the forefront on the complex issues from molecule development to commercialization, market access, clinical trials, health technology and more.  As the pharmaceutical industry steps forward to focus on a patient-centric approach to their business practice it is only appropriate to see Cueva recognized among this group

Amy Cueva has been focused on helping her clients to see patients as people, first. She is co-founder of Boston’s Mad*Pow, a mid-size strategic design consultancy, started in 2001 with a prestigious client list including some of the largest pharmaceutical companies, national health networks, and payers including CDC, Cleveland Clinic, Fidelity Health, and Humana among others.  Partnership with these clients provides Mad*Pow with thousands of hours of patient, family, caregiver, and stakeholder insight research across the complex health ecosystem to provide insights and expertise across the health ecosystem. 

Amy speaks regularly at health, design, and innovation conferences and recently launched The Center for Health Experience Design (CHXD). It is under this umbrella that Mad*Pow can focus its passion for unraveling some of the most complex health challenges by bringing multiple stakeholders together. Presently, CHXD is leading an initiative to improve the health benefits selection process such that it better provides for financial security of those who earn less than $55,000 per year.

Amy will be recognized in NYC on September 13 as part of the PharmaVOICE 100 annual event.

PharmaVOICE started the PharmaVOICE 100 in 2005, making this year’s recipients its 14th year of celebration.
