Research & Testing
At Mad*Pow, we design for people. That starts with understanding people. What drives them? What do they value most? What motivates them? What works for them today and what doesn’t?
Our research team is particularly skilled at uncovering needs and wants that prospective users may have difficulty articulating. We use a variety of techniques – including ethnography, stakeholder and user interviews, and usability and desirability testing to uncover the insights that inspire our design teams. We observe; we ask questions; and we measure. Mad*Pow is the US representative to the International User Experience Partnership (IUXP), a global research consortium, which allows us to easily conduct research abroad.
Mad*Pow’s Usability Lab features spacious testing and observation rooms with High Definition multimedia data capture capabilities that can record, store, and broadcast usability tests, focus groups, out-of-the-box product examinations, mobile computing device use, and more.
Whether you need to understand user values and motivations to inspire a behavior change game, or evaluate a medical device prior to obtaining FDA approval, or need to learn where you should focus your efforts to improve your product, we can help.
