Mad*Pow partnered with a large financial firm to create a prototype for their customers’ mortgage experience via a mobile app. Leveraging visionary “blue sky” concepts for design and interactivity, we distilled the best elements to integrate with the app, while making recommendations for new ways to push the boundaries of the existing mobile style guide.
Manage your mortgage on your phone to avoid confusion and anxiety
Although many customers will use several communication channels to apply for and close on their mortgage, this prototype demonstrates how they could do it all from their smart phone. Key features include shopping for and selecting a property, loan pre-approval, and demonstrating financial security, to signing multiple documents, wiring closing costs, and getting directions to the closing location. Customers can visualize the mortgage timeline, and can always see where they are in the process, including what’s being handled by the lender, and any actions they need to take to keep their mortgage moving forward.
